Recognition

Recipient of a number of distinguished awards, LeMenager was recently honored with the 1999 Entrepreneurial Success Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration, and was named Supplier of the Year for the Stores Division of JCPenney. Working Woman magazine recognized her company as one of the largest woman-owned businesses in America, and Crain’s Chicago Business has repeatedly ranked Marketing Innovators as one of the ten largest woman-owned firms in Chicago. As a prominent Chicago entrepreneur, she has been inducted into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, The Institute of American Entrepreneurs, the Entrepreneur of the Year Institute, was named Entrepreneur of the Year by VENTURE magazine and Arthur Young, and in 1998 was honored with the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Influential Women in Business Award. LeMenager has been an avid supporter of numerous community-oriented projects and organizations. She continues to support organizations which encourage and mentor youth in business, such as Junior Achievement and Students in Free Enterprise.

She is currently on the board of directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and the Advisory Council of the Women’s Business Development Center. She is also an active member of many organizations, including the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
